The 2012 Hall of Fame Dinner and Dance will be held on Saturday March 10, 2012 at The Woodland Place in Vinton. Tickets are $25 and are available from any board member. The inductees for 2012 are Jerry Foutz, Tim Nagel and Portia Hill. |
Candidates are nominated as potential “Hall of Famers” by their peers, with the Board of Directors giving final approval. There are two categories for induction into the Hall of Fame: Superior Performance (Bowling Ability) and Meritorious Service. The Roanoke USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame and the Roanoke Valley USBC Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame were combined into the Greater Roanoke Area USBC Hall of Fame starting with the 2008-2009 bowling season.

Superior Performance Bowled in 10 local association tournaments, achieved local recognition for bowling ability, and an outstanding record in bowling competition on the local level. |
Meritorious Service Outstanding service to the sport of bowling over a period of years on the local level by contributing to bowling’s general welfare and progress through interest, service and promotion. |
