Teena D. Eckles, 61, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. She retired from Allstate after 30 years of service, afterward working for Graystone Financial and later at Back Resort. Teena graduated from Jefferson High School and was an avid bowler for many years.

Surviving are her loving husband of 27 years, Mike Eckles; stepdaughter, Hilarie Akers and husband, Joey; two grandchildren, Ezra Michael and Carlee; special friends, Rick and Ann Calhoon, Russ and Sheila Hicks (and their daughter, Cayla), and Johnny and Deborah Harris; all of her bowling family; and all of her O’Charley’s family.

Teena had a true passion for the beach and the family asks that all attendees to the visitation and memorial service wear casual or beach clothing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Online condolences may be made at http://www.oakeys.com.
