David W. (Paw Paw) Barnhart, 67, of Vinton, Va., passed away Friday, January 7, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert H. Barnhart and Lillie C. Barnhart; and his faithful companion dog, Raz. David was employed for 38 years at Richards Wilbert, Inc., was an avid bowler and fisherman, and a Virginia Tech and William Byrd fan. The joy of his life were his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carolyn L. Barnhart; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Barnhart and her daughter, Madison Anela Morita; daughter, Kerri Barnhart King, her husband, David, and their daughters, Peyton Lillie King and Taylor Kayleigh King; sister, Elsie Neathawk and her daughter, Crystal Neathawk; the loving Poff family; his many special friends at work, the bowling alley, and his fishing buddies.
