Jackie L. Williams, 78, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Arron and Clara Virginia Graham Williams; brothers, Kenneth Lindley Williams, Billy Lee Williams and Bobby Ray Williams.
Jackie retired after 30 years of service with the Virginia Department of Transportation. He was an avid outdoorsman and did he ever love his bowling.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Kathy Williams; daughter, Jacqueline Duckworth; grandsons, Harley Duckworth and Ethan Duckworth; brothers, Nicolas (Sharon) Williams, and Dwight “Ike” Williams; long time best friend, Doug Boothe; mother-in-law, Dolores (Dee) Dooley; sister-in-law, Darlene (Bill) Hartless; brother-in-law, Jerry (Juanita) Dooley; sister-in-law, Carolyn (David) Secrest; and numerous nieces and nephews.
