First 300 for Roanoke Bowler
Bill Noell rolled his first ever 300 game during the Bowling Green League’s “King of the Hill” tournament at the end of the season. Congratulations Bill!
The 2008 Virginia State Senior Doubles/Singles Tournament was held during the month of October at AMF Hilltop Lanes in Roanoke, Virginia. The final standings are available HERE.

The 2008 Virginia State 600 Club Tournament was held the weekend of October 18-19, 2008 at AMF Lynchburg Bowl in Lynchburg, VA. Congratulations to the following GRAUSBC members:

The 2009 tournament’s tentative location is AMF Keglers Lanes in Charlottesville (pending UVa football schedule); the alternate location is AMF Hilltop Lanes in Roanoke. More information on the final location will be available once the 2009 UVa football schedule is released.
Although the results are still not certified, there are some area bowlers that deserve recognition for their performance at the recent USBC Open Championship Tournament and the USBC Women’s Championship Tournament.
