The Greater Roanoke Area, Lynchburg Area, New River Valley, Southern Piedmont, Danville and South Boston USBC Associations are combining forces to bring you the Third Annual Multi-Association Championship Tournament. The format is Doubles & Singles; bowlers must participate in both. The event will be held the weekends of January 20/21 and 27/28, 2018 at Riverside Lanes, 3215 Riverside Dr, Danville VA. The 2017 Virginia State 600 Bowling Club Annual Tournament will be held in Chester at Holiday Bowl. The doubles event will be October 21, 2017 (check-in: 1:00pm, bowling: 2:00pm) and the singles event will be October 22, 2017 (check-in: 9:30am, bowling 10:30am). Entry form, rules and host hotel information are available on our FORMS page under the “Other” category. Early entry deadline is October 11, 2017. New this year, walk-ins entries will be accepted both days up until 30 minutes prior to squad start. Note there is an additional $5.00 charge for walk-ins.
The 600 Club is open to any sanctioned female that has ever bowled a sanctioned scratch 600 series. If you are not already a member, please contact Mary-Ann Keyes (804-861-2429) for more information.
Everyone knows the Commonwealth Games have moved from the Roanoke Valley to Lynchburg beginning this year (2017). But not everyone knows that the Bowling Event is still at NRV Superbowl. The National 600 Bowling Club, Inc. will be conducting it’s annual mail-o-graphic singles tournament for its members. This tournament will be held beginning January 23 through February 12, 2017. Copies of the entry form, score verification form and tournament rules are available on the National 600 Bowling Club website.
There are two forms to be used. The entry form with entry fee(s) must be returned postmarked no later than January 17, 2017. League scores for the dates of January 23 through February 12, 2017 will be used. You may enter in each league that you are a member, however, entrant may cash only once in each division entered. The score verification form must be returned postmarked no later than February 20, 2017. Please remember to include a copy of your league recap sheet with current average and signed verification form.
An Incentive award will be given to the State and Local 600 Clubs with the most entries in the tournament. Please specify which 600 Club you belong to. If you do not have a local 600 club please use your local association. We are challenging each of you to bring in at least one new entrant to our Mail-O-Graphic Tournament. Remember they must be a member of the National 600 Club.
The entry fee is $10.00 PER ENTRY: Prize fund $7.00 and $3.00 for expenses. The prize fund will be returned 100%. Checks should be made payable to National 600 Bowling Club, Inc.
