Women’s Hall of Fame

The Roanoke Valley USBC Women’s Bowling Association started its Hall of Fame in 1990. Candidates are nominated as potential “Hall of Famers” by their peers, with the Board of Directors giving final approval. There are two categories for induction into the Hall of Fame: Superior Performance and Meritorious Service.

Superior Performance
Bowled in 10 local association tournaments, achieved local recognition for bowling ability, and an outstanding record in bowling competition on the local level.

Meritorious Service
Outstanding service to the sport of bowling over a period of years on the local level by contributing to bowling’s general welfare and progress through interest, service and promotion.
