Ann Connolly Keffer

Ann Connolly Keffer of Roanoke, Virginia, departed this life on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at the age of 84.

She was born in Roanoke, Virginia and graduated from Jefferson High School. Ann worked for American Viscose, Allstate Insurance Company, and South Star Corporation.

She enjoyed sewing, bowling, playing bridge, and golf. Ann was an avid Virginia Tech fan and would frequently share her football stories. She attended Bonsack Baptist Church. Ann was a regular volunteer at the Scott Robertson Memorial Tournament and other golf events around Roanoke. She had an appreciation and pride in her stories of old Roanoke history. Ann was an animal lover and enjoyed old movies, Elvis, and country music.

She was predeceased by her father, Linney Lee Connolly Sr.; mother, Willie Scott Connolly; brother and sister-in-law, Linney Lee Connolly Jr. and Marcia Connolly; nephew, Alex Keffer; niece, Rebecca Wallace; and former husband, Charles D. “Dan” Keffer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ginger Keffer and Charlie Keffer (Kara); her grandchildren, Dani Keffer, Kolton Keffer, and Karsyn Keffer; her nieces and nephews, Joan Traynelis, Karen Connolly, Kevin Peters, Kathleen DiCarlo, Anne Gentry, Jennifer Ferguson, and John Keffer.
