Betty Jane Trail Fernatt, 81, of Vinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 4. 2021.

She was born April 6, 1940 in Pulaski, daughter of the late Arlin and Bessie Trail. She was married to Donald Eugene Fernatt who preceded her in Glory in 1988.

Betty loved quilting, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed bowling.

She was a faithful and longtime member of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church in Troutville and request the Memorial donations be made there.

Betty’s surviving family include daughter, Cynthia Dillon (Bobby), of Roanoke; son, Steven Fernatt (Lisa), of Culpeper, VA; sister, Opal Cox (Harold), of Pulaski; brother, Jack Trail (Mary Ann), of Galloway NJ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
