Carlton Lynn Crews, 81, of Wirtz, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and bowler. Carlton retired from General Electric after 34 years of service. He was an independent man who loved and provided for his big family, including his stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back and treated everyone with respect and dignity. Carlton was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Carlton is survived by sons, Michael Crews (Samantha) and James Crews; daughter, Dawn Vandrun; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carlton was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Dorothy “Dot” Crews; parents, Evelyn and Milton Crews; son, Stephen Crews; and sister, Muriel Bennett.
