Daniel Wayne Stone, 47, of Moneta, Va., died on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Manchester, Tenn., on March 22, 1963, a son of the late Edwin Emory Stone and his surviving mother, Christie Gembach Anderson and her husband, Dan. In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Stone; his paternal grandparents, Jack and Ruby Gembach; and his maternal grandparents, Bernice Salling and Tracy Stone Sr. Daniel was a very outgoing, kind hearted, caring person who loved all animals, he loved to go bowling, and spend time with his family and friends. He has touched the lives of so many people and he will be missed by each and every one. In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by a half brother, Eddie Stone, of Chattanooga; a cousin, Beth Maggard and her husband, Steve, of Norton, their children, Cody, Riley and Clay; a cousin, Billy Gembach and his wife, Debbie, of New Hampshire, their child, Leigha; a cousin, Kelly Irveen and her husband, Brad, of Knoxville; an aunt and uncle, Bill and Rue Gembach, of Norton; two uncles, Jack Gembach, of East Stone, and Tracy Stone and his wife, Catherine, of Chattanooga; and numerous other cousins and nieces.
