Kenneth E. Eckles, 85, of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lela Eckles; three sisters and an infant daughter. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Geneva Anderson Eckles; two sons, Buddy Eckles (Wanda), Michael Eckles (Teena); three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Bobby Anderson, Robert Arbuckle; a special friend, Sarah Denton.

Kenneth was in the United States Air Force and served in Korea. He met Geneva and married her on her birthday, September 5, 1953. He retired from Mechanical Development Company after 47 years of service. Kenneth enjoyed bowling, flea markets and collecting, especially coins, guns and knives.
