Louise Deputy Surbaugh Larch
Louise Deputy Surbaugh Larch, 91, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, and was the daughter of the late Frank Deputy and Grace Shinnaberry. She was proceeded in death by her husband, A.K. Larch and sister, Betty D. Flora. Survivors include her son, Mike Surbaugh and wife, Carolyn, of Roanoke; two daughters, Patsy S. Hedrick and husband, Walt, of Arlington, Texas, and Betty Ann Surbaugh, of Roanoke; one stepdaughter, Carol Franz and husband, Dr. Chuck Frantz, of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Kenneth Surbaugh and wife, Deanna, Hope Lodge and husband, Webster, and Scott Hedrick; five stepgrandchildren, Todd Whitescarver, Scott Whitescarver, Carol Gardner, David Duffy and Dale Duffy; nephew, Rob Flora; and four great-grandchildren, Brooke and Kenny, and Luke and Lawson.
Louise was a member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church for 50 years. She was active in the fine art series and other activities of the church. She was a supporter of Blind Bowlers League of Roanoke and Camp Easter Seals. Louise was the owner /operator of Lark Salon of Beauty on Colonial Avenue for 30 years. She was very kind and generous person with a huge heart. She was happiest entertaining family and friends.
