Patricia T. (Aunt Patty) Cerak, 79, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was born in Bay City, Mich., on September 25, 1930, daughter of the late John and Dorothy Tucker. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Paul Cerak; and four brothers, John, Francis, Thomas and Edward Tucker. Mrs. Cerak was an LPN, and she worked at the Catawba Hospital for over 20 years; she was a member of the 500 Club, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and bingo. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Paul Frederick Cerak; three grandsons, Paul Frederick Cerak II and his wife, Stacey, Joseph John Cerak and his wife, Shikara, and Christopher James Cerak; greatgrandchildren, Isabella, Darien, Katerina, Emma and Abigail Cerak; her brother, Robert L. Tucker and his wife, Edie; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their care.
