Robert Lee (Buddy) Boatright Jr., 54, of Boones Mill, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Buddy was retired from the City of Roanoke and was an avid bowler, hunter and fisherman. He was very interested in all sports. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maxine Boatright; his wife, Kathy Boatright; and three sisters. Surviving are his sisters, Virginia Sims, of Oxford, Ala., Mary Jane Flint, of Roanoke, Barbara Green, of Anniston, Ala., Nita Honea, of Atlanta, Ga., and Martha Hill, of Anniston, Ala.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
