USBC Convention Results

USBC annual dues will not be increasing and associations will not be required to merge by August 2011. Read the article, including the adoption or rejection of all the amendments HERE. Leagues (especially league officers) should pay special attention to the 6 league rule amendments that were adopted. Association officers and directors should note that associations will no longer be required to re-charter and the performance standards requirements have been removed.

First 300 for Roanoke Bowler

Bill Noell rolled his first ever 300 game during the Bowling Green League’s “King of the Hill” tournament at the end of the season. Congratulations Bill!

CDB sets new TV consecutive strike record

Women’s bowling Hall of Famer Carolyn Dorin-Ballard set a new TV record with 20 consecutive strikes during her run for the inaugural PBA Women’s Series Showdown win presented by the United States Bowling Congress which aired on ESPN Sunday April 12.
