Standings after the 5th weekend of the 2014 Virginia State USBC Senior Open and Senior Women’s Tournaments are now posted under the Virginia State USBC Standings page.
Any graduating high school senior is eligible to apply for the Blake Harrison Memorial Star of Tomorrow Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to one female and one male and are renewable for an additional three years if the required GPA is met. The award amounts, renewals and the number of scholarships awarded each year are given at the discretion of the Board of Trustees. The applicants must have unimpaired amateur standing in all athletics and be a member of a league certified in the State of Virginia by the USBC in good standing for the current season. The rest of the eligibility requirements are listed within the application paperwork. Applications are available on the Virginia State USBC website under the Forms and Youth pages.
Results for the 2014 Virginia State 600 Bowling Club Tournament are now available on the Virginia State 600 Bowling Club Facebook Page, the Virginia State Web Site Standings page, and own Standings page. Congratulations to all of the winners of this year’s tournament, and mark your calendar for next year’s (2015) tournament to be held at AMF Lynchburg Bowl in Lynchburg, VA on October 17 & 18!
