Virginia State 600 Bowling Club 2012 Tournament Entry Forms Are Now Available

Entry forms are now available for the upcoming Virginia State 600 Bowling Club 2012 Tournament. The tournament will be at AMF Kegler’s Lanes in Charlottesville, VA on November 3-4, 2012. Forms may be downloaded from our Tournaments page or from the Virginia State 600 Bowling Club Facebook page. Entries close October 24, 2012.

2012-2013 GRAUSBC Annual Open and Women’s Tournament Entry Forms

Entry forms for the 2012-2013 GRAUSBC Women’s and Open Annual Tournaments are now available at the bowling centers and on our FORMS page. NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!  THE TOURNAMENTS ARE BEING HELD THIS SEASON DURING THE OCTOBER-NOVEMBER TIME FRAME.  Once again, bowlers are allowed to bowl team, doubles and singles more than once, but must change teammates for team event and partners for the doubles event. The FIRST time an event is bowled will count towards all-events. Questions regarding rules or entries should be directed to Mike Eckles, 540-797-9539.

National Bowling Day is August 11, 2012

AMERICA BOWLS FREE ON AUGUST 11, 2012

On National Bowling Day, America will bowl for free – anyone and everyone can go to www.GoBowling.com to access a free game coupon and find participating centers closest to them. The coupon can also be accessed by “liking” the GoBowling Facebook page. Select centers will also host special events that include activities for all ages, quick and easy league sign-up, free coaching clinics and other fun events.

“For the first time ever, the bowling industry has come together to create a single day to celebrate this great American past time. The beauty of bowling is that there are no barriers. People of all ages and from all walks of life can play, compete and have fun – and everyone is invited to bowl for free on Saturday, August 11,” said Steve Johnson, executive director of the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA).
