Bowling Added to 2009 AAU Junior Olympic Games

Bowling will makes its debut at the largest national multi-sport event for youth in the United States this year. The bowling event will be held at Plaza Lanes Family Sport Complex from Aug. 1-3. The competition is open to any USBC Youth Member who meets the American Athletic Union (AAU) age requirements since qualifying for the Junior Olympic Bowling Event is not required this year. ESPN will be televising the GEICO PBA Team Shootout beginning Sunday June 21 at 1:30PM and continuing for the next 3 consecutive Sundays. More information about the GEICO Team Shootout and ESPN televised schedule is HERE.

Virginia State Pepsi USBC Youth Champions

Results from the Virginia State Pepsi USBC Youth Championships are available HERE. Congratulations to Amber Tribbett (Vinton Bowling Center) for 1st Place and Rebekah DiGregorio (Lee-Hi Lanes) for 3rd Place in the Girls Ages 12 & Above Handicap Division and Callie Thompson (Lee-Hi Lanes) for 6th Place in the Girls Ages 11 & Under Handicap Division.
