The Subway Commonwealth Games of Virginia Bowling Event will be held at the New River Valley Superbowl from Friday July 19 (Seniors Only) through Sunday July 21, 2013. Entry fee is $45 ($35 for seniors). Entry deadline is July 5, 2013. THERE IS NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. Qualifying criteria, entry forms and a link to on-line registration are available at the Subway Commonwealth Games Bowling Event page. Lonnie McCoy Pratt, of Roanoke, was born on March 22, 1928, and passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013. His favorite pastimes were baseball, fishing, bowling and dancing. He was a member of the Roanoke Bowling Association, where he was the first inductee into the Roanoke Hall of Fame. He also was a member of the Roanoke Moose Lodge, Roanoke Jaycees, and was an ardent fisherman, where he had earned multiple citations for his flounder.

The Greater Roanoke Area USBC Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:30AM. The meeting will be held at AMF Hilltop Lanes, 5918 Williamson Road, Roanoke, VA. The Youth meeting will be held after the Annual Meeting. Please try to attend. This meeting is open to all local association members, and will include election of officers and directors.
The 2013 Annual GRAUSBC Youth Championship Tournament scheduled for March 9-10, 2013 at AMF Hilltop Lanes has been cancelled due to lack of entries. Please refer any questions to your Youth Coach.
