The results from the first Ann St. Hilaire Youth Traveling Scholarship Tournament of the 2013-2014 season have been received. The tournament was held at Vinton Bowling Center on October 6, 2013. The results can be viewed HERE. The next tournament will be November 3, 2013 at AMF Hilltop Lanes.
Sheila Hicks became only the fourth female in the Greater Roanoke Area USBC Association to shoot a perfect game on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Bowling in the Bowling Green League at AMF Hilltop Lanes in Roanoke, Virginia, Sheila had games of 235, 237 and 300 for a 772 series. This also set a new house record; the old record of 769, set in October of 2012, had been held by Kathy Taylor. The other three GRAUSBC females that have rolled 300 games are Christal Schaeffer (9/30/2012), Kathy Taylor (10/27/2006) and Laurie Zirkle (3/1/2012, 1/26/2006).
