Virginia State 600 Bowling Club 2013 Tournament Entry Forms Are Now Available

Entry forms are now available for the upcoming Virginia State 600 Bowling Club 2013 Tournament. The tournament will be at Holiday Bowl in Chester VA on October 19-20, 2013. Forms may be downloaded from our Tournaments page, the Virginia State USBC Tournaments page or from the Virginia State 600 Bowling Club Facebook page. Entries close October 10, 2013.

Les Dames de 700 Bowling Club 2013 Mail-O-Graphic Tournament

The Les Dames de 700 Club is conducting a mail-o-graphic singles tournament. League scores from October 6 through November 2, 2013 will be used. If your league bowls weekly, you may enter that league one, two three or all four weeks. This tournament will be handicapped at 90% from 230 and will be USBC certified. Local Youth Bowlers Tackle North Pointe Junior Gold Championships

Five local area youth bowlers qualified for the 2013 North Pointe Junior Gold Championships this year. Ben Preece (Rocky Mount Bowling Center), Logan Waldron (Lee-Hi Lanes), James Mabry (NRV Superbowl), Lilly Shell (NRV Superbowl) and Cayla Hicks (NRV Superbowl) competed on WTBA oil patterns during the week of July 15-19, 2013. Ben Preece, Logan Waldron and James Mabry all participated in the U20 boys division (1024 entries), Lilly Shell was in the U20 girls division (573 entries) and Cayla Hicks bowled in the U15 girls division (169 entries). Congratulations to all five bowlers on their accomplishments, with special recognition to Cayla, who made it all the way through to Round 4 of double-elimination match play and won a $1400 scholarship on Friday. Great bowling!
