The Coventry Commonwealth Games of Virginia Bowling Event is at the NRV Superbowl this weekend (July 15-17, 2011). Entry deadline is today (Thursday, July 14) and has to be done electronically (no on-site registration). The bowling competition, except for seniors, is a qualifying event. More than 275 women bowlers from at least 16 different countries will take part in the 2011 U.S. Women’s Open. Qualifying and the rounds of 32 and 16 will be held from June 24-29, 2011, with stepladder finals on June 30, 2011. More on the 2011 U.S. Women’s Open can be found at the following sites:
