New NAIA Institutions to offer Collegiate Bowling

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, Campbellsville University announced its plans to begin fielding men’s and women’s bowling teams starting with the 2009-10 season.

Notre Dame College (Ohio) announced recently that it will begin competing in men’s and women’s intercollegiate bowling starting with the 2009-10 season, making it the first Ohio institution to sponsor bowling as a scholarship sport and increasing the total number of NAIA programs to 21.

National 600 Bowling Club

The National 600 Bowling Club, Inc. is a nonprofit and independent organization comprising USBC members who have bowled a 3-game series of 600 or more in USBC sanctioned league or tournament competition. Each year the Club conducts two tournaments: a mail-o-graphic tournament at the beginning of the calendar year and an annual tournament held concurrently with the USBC Women’s Nationals. 2008-2009 Sanction Fees

ADULT

GRAUSBC adult sanction fees for the 2008-2009 bowling season are as follows:

USBC $10.00
VSBA $ 1.00
VSWBA $ 1.00
GRAUSBC $ 6.00


Total adult fees are $17.00 for both men and women with one exception. If a woman bowler wants to be sanctioned through both the VSBA and VSWBA, then her total fees will be $18.00.

YOUTH

The youth sanction fees for the 2008-2009 bowling season are as follows:

USBC $ 9.50
Virginia $ .50
GRAUSBC $ 2.00
TOTAL $12.00
