The USBC Board of Directors approved several major changes to the following USBC Youth programs beginning with the 2009-2010 season:

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, Campbellsville University announced its plans to begin fielding men’s and women’s bowling teams starting with the 2009-10 season.
Notre Dame College (Ohio) announced recently that it will begin competing in men’s and women’s intercollegiate bowling starting with the 2009-10 season, making it the first Ohio institution to sponsor bowling as a scholarship sport and increasing the total number of NAIA programs to 21.
