Local bowler Laurie Zirkle will be inducted into the Virginia State USBC Bowling Hall of Fame under the category of Bowling Achievements on September 14, 2013. A big congratulations to her!

2013-2014 Sanction Fee Information
Sanction fees for the 2013-2014 bowling season are $18.00 for everyone (adults and youth). The GRAUSBC will be paying $7.00 (the state and local part) towards each YOUTH sanction. Adults will be responsible for the full $18.00, youth will be responsible for $10.00 (the national amount). Breakdown of the sanctions fees:

Fall Leagues are just around the corner, and league meetings start as early as tonight (August 7, 2013). The league meeting is where the starting date, number of weeks, type of roll-off and other items are decided. Please attend your league meeting if at all possible. A calendar of known leagues and meeting dates/times is available under our Calendars page.
The Les Dames de 700 Club is conducting a mail-o-graphic singles tournament. League scores from October 6 through November 2, 2013 will be used. If your league bowls weekly, you may enter that league one, two three or all four weeks. This tournament will be handicapped at 90% from 230 and will be USBC certified.
