Notice to Vinton Bowling Center Bowlers

There are rumors going around the other centers that Vinton Bowling Center is closing, either this summer or at the end of summer. Please tell them these rumors are false. I have the 2012 Virginia State Open Tournament next summer and the 2013 Virginia State Mixed Tournament in February of 2013.

Thanks,

GRAUSBC Announces New Association Manager

NOTICE

The Board of Directors of the Greater Roanoke Area USBC has employed Mike Eckles as Association Manager, effective April 1, 2011, upon the resignation of it current Association Manager.

Mike has been a part of both the local and state associations for several years, and has been tournament chairman for the State Senior Tournaments, and tournaments chairman for the GRA for the past year. The board felt with his exposure to this part of administrative duties of the GRA, he would be the appropriate person to handle the additional workload of Association Manager. His resignation as 1st Vice President was accepted with regrets.

The league secretaries will be receiving information as to the address and telephone number of the new Association Manager prior to April 1st. Until that time, all communications should be directed to the current Association Manager.

Lee Griffith, President
