Christine Brightwell Decker, 90, of Roanoke, Va., died on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. She served many years on the Roanoke Women’s Bowling Association and was inducted into the Association’s Hall of Fame in 1991. She was employed as an accountant for 17 years at All Star Lanes before retiring in 1983. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Melrose Baptist Church, 3520 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, Va. 24019. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2010, at Melrose Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. The interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Oakey’s North Chapel, 540-362-1237.

2010-2011 Youth Sanction Fees
The GRAUSBC has voted to pay all youth sanction fees for the 2010-2011 bowling season.
The Greater Roanoke Area USBC 2009-2010 Average Books are now available from the AVERAGES page. Note that the adult and youth are in separate files on-line, but are combined into one book for printing purposes. Any discrepancies should be reported to the secretary for that particular league.
