Evelyn Marie Long, 85, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 3, 2010. Evelyn was a longtime member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church where she especially enjoyed her Sunday School fellowship. She was an avid bowler and member of the Virginia Bowler’s Hall of Fame. In her later years she enjoyed playing Bridge at the Mountain View Senior Recreation Center. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with the Rev. Louis Strickler officiating.
