From the Virginia State USBC web site: “These amendments will be voted on at the VA State USBC business meeting during the Jamboree-Workshop to be held at the Econo Lodge in Martinsville.”

BPAA announces return of U.S. Women’s Open

The U.S. Women’s Open will be held in 2011 after all. During it’s annual convention earlier this year, the USBC had announced that the 2011 competition would be on hiatus. On June 30, the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) announced that the U.S. Women’s Open will be held on June 30, 2011 in conjunction with the 2011 International Bowl Expo and will be sponsored by The Brands of Ebonite International.
