BPAA announces return of U.S. Women’s Open

The U.S. Women’s Open will be held in 2011 after all. During it’s annual convention earlier this year, the USBC had announced that the 2011 competition would be on hiatus. On June 30, the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) announced that the U.S. Women’s Open will be held on June 30, 2011 in conjunction with the 2011 International Bowl Expo and will be sponsored by The Brands of Ebonite International. Registration Still Open for Coventry Commonwealth Games of Virginia

The Coventry Commonwealth Games of Virginia Bowling Event will be held at the New River Valley Superbowl from Friday July 18 (Seniors Only) through Sunday July 20, 2010. Entry fee is $35 ($25 for seniors) if received by midnight on June 25, $45 ($35 for seniors) if received after June 26. Entry deadline is July 11, 2010. THERE IS NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. Qualifying criteria and entry forms are available at the Coventry Commonwealth Games Bowling Event page.
